Sexy Crazy Cool - FTU Frame

For this tut I used a FTU frame which you can find here
please leave some luv when downloading. 

I used a PTU tube by verymany which you can find here

Mask of choice or the mask I used by WitchysHeart called Exclusive #1 which you can find here

Font of choice or the one I used HLBrush

This is a very easy tut.  I did it for a purple & black theme in a group I participate in. 

Open a new canvas 550 x 550.  Flood fill with white.
Go to layers, new raster layer, flood fill with a color to match your tube.  I used a lighter purple ce6eef color for mine.  Open your mask.  Next go to layers, new mask and find your mask, apply.  In your layers palette, merge group. 

Open the frame and resize to your liking.  Copy and paste it above your mask layer.
Click inside the frame with your magic wand, go to selections, modify, expand by 5.
add a new layer, flood fill with black, selections invert, click delete, select none.
I then used Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - crumple with the following settings:
Crumple size 3.50
Crumple force 50
with white in the color box
Direction 60
Inclination 58
Highlight Brightness 19.47
Hightlight Size 51.20
Light Boost 50
click apply or ok.
I then duplicated the mask layer and brought the duplicated layer up above the black layer and lowered the opacity to 80.  I also added noise - go to Adjust - add/remove noise 35 uniform with the monochrome box ticked. 

All is left to do is add your tube of choice and copyright.  I clicked inside the frame with my magic wand and modified and expanded by 5, then I pasted the tube, duplicated it, brought one layer above the frame and one below, highlight the tube below and then go to selections, invert, tap your delete key, go to selections, select none.  I then highlighted the top tube and erased what I didn't want showing, dropshadow on the frame and tube if you like.  Make sure to erase any shadows on the tube if it shows on the parts you erased.  Add your copyright and save as a psp image or close out the white background layer, merge visible and save as a png.  I use the png then for adding names.  Thanks for trying my tut.

FTU Tut Girls Best Friend

This is an easy tut using one of Jolene's Scrapkits.  I will post a link to the kit asap.  I also used the limited edition Elias Chatzoudis from PTE.  I'm not sure if it's still available but you can check at PSP Tubes Emporium HERE

The scrapkit by Jolene is called Dysphoria.
Font I used is called Yippy Skippy Alt.  It is a FTU font,
and you can get it HERE

Open a new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill with white.
Open the Frame, Shift D to duplicate, x out the original, copy and paste it onto your canvas, resize 90%
Click inside the frame with your magic wand, go to selections, modify and expand by 3.
Open paper 2 and shift d to duplicate, x out the original, copy and paste as a new layer
Go to selections, invert, tap the delete key, select none.
Move the paper below the frame layer.  I used a drop shadow of  2, -2, 30 and 3.00 on the frame.
Next open the Doodle, shift d to duplicate, x out the original, copy and paste as a new layer above
the paper layer.  Duplicate it and move one doodle up a bit and one down a bit.  Refer to my tag for
positioning. 

Open the following elements, shift d to duplicate and x out the originals.
Flower 1 - resize 30%, add dropshadow and sharpen
Belt - resize 60%, image rotate, free rotate left 90 degrees.  Dropshadow.
Beaded Heart - resize 30%, dropshadow and sharpen

Add your tube.  Add the correct copyright and you are done.
I save mine as both a psp image with the white background in case I want to make changes
and as a png with the white background x-ed out.  Add names to your creation.

PTU - Angel Eyes

Mask of Choice

Tube of choice, I used a tube by Jose Cano which can be purchased

from MPT HERE

I used an awesome scrapkit called a Bit of Romance

which can be purchased  at Scrappin Dollars HERE

Open a new canvas 600 x 600.  Flood fill with white.

Open Paper 2 and shift d to duplicate, x out the original.

Go to edit, copy, and on your canvas go to edit, paste as a new layer.

Now we will do the mask layer.

Layers, new mask, from image, click ok,

on layers palette, click merge, merge group.

Open frame 4 - shift d to duplicate, x out the original.

resize 500 x 600 pixels using smart size.

edit, copy, and then on canvas, edit paste. Position.

Click inside the frame with your magic wand, go to selections,

modify and expand by 5.  Open Paper 10 and shift d to duplicate,

x out the original and go to edit copy, and paste as a new layer.

Paste a close up tube of choice now too and

Go to selections, invert, tap delete, highlight the paper layer

tap delete again, go to selections, select none. 

Move the frame layer above the paper & tube layers.

Dropshadow the frame and tube. I used 2, -2, 40, 3.00.

Highlight your tube layer and to to layers, duplicate.

On the duplicated layer, go to adjust, blur, gaussian blur, 3.00 %

In the layers palate properties, blend mode, soft light.

On the original tube layer, palate properties, blend mode, Luminance (Legacy)

Erase part of the string on top of the frame if it sticks out.

Open the Veil, shift d to duplicate, x out the original

copy and paste it on the frame, resize 60%.

Don't dropshadow the veil.

For the rest of this tag it's a matter of opening elements, shift d to duplicate

and x out the originals, resize and dropshadow. 2 -2, 40, 30

Red Window - copy & paste, duplicate and mirror, then duplicate again.  Merge these 3

layers together and position on canvas.

Fence 2 - copy & paste & postion above the merged windows

Arbor - copy & paste above the fence.

Vase - copy & paste and resize 65%

Cluster - copy & paste on arbor and resize 80%

Trunk - copy & paste & resize 20%

Violin - copy & paste & resize 65%.

Metal Flower the red one, copy & paste

Mood Lighting - copy & paste and resize 65%

Flower 1 - copy & paste, position behind the vase, erase

any of the stem that is sticking out.

Butterfly - copy & paste and resize 15%, duplicate & mirror

copy & paste the butterfly again and resize 20% & mirror.

Use my tag to arrange all your layers, add your copyright

and you are done, you can save as a psp image in case

you want to make changes,  I then x out the white background,

and merge visible and save as png.  I save that as a blank for

adding names to.  Hope this tut was easy to follow.

PTU - Dusky Night Tutorial

Tube of Choice - I used a tube by Jennifer Janesko which you can purchase at CILM HERE

I used a PTU Scrapkit called Dusky Night which you can purchase HERE

Mask 41 by WSL which you can get HERE

Font of Choice - I used Satisfaction. HERE

Open a new canvas 575 x 575 or size of choice.

Flood fill with white.

Open flower frame 4, shift D to duplicate, x out the original.

Edit, copy the paper, then on canvas go to edit, paste.  Resize 90%.

Use your magic wand and click inside the frame, make sure you get

the two small bits too by holding down on your shift key and

clicking in each spot with the magic wand.

Go to selections, modify, expand by 3.

Open paper 14, shift D to duplicate, x out the original.

Copy and paste it as a new layer, do not de-select yet.

Open your tube of choice, shift D to duplicate, x out the original.

Copy and paste tube onto canvas above the paper layer, position

where you want it, add a drop shadow of 2: -2; 30: 3.00. 

Then go to layers, duplicate and close the tube copy in your palette. 

Highlight your paper layer, go to selections, invert

tap the delete key, then highlight the open tube layer, tap delete, go

to selections, select none.  Move your frame above the paper and

tube layer that is open.  Open or un x your top tube layer.  Now

carefully erase what you don't want showing. 

Dropshadow your frame. 2; -2, 40, 3.00.

On the paper layer I used Effects, Blinds with these settings:

Width 5, Opacity 30, tick both boxes, Horizontal & Light

from left top.  Color Black.

Next highlight your bottom white layer.

Go to layers, new raster layer.  Go to selections, select all.

Now open paper 8 or paper of choice, shift D to duplicate, x out

the original.  Go to edit, copy and then on your canvas, go to edit,

paste into selection, then go to selections, select none.

Next go to layers, new mask from image, locate your mask layer,

then create mask from Source Luminace, no ticks in the invert

mask data if using WSL mask.  Click OK.

Go to your layers palatte, right click on the mask and from

the drop down menu box, click Merge Group.

The next part is adding the elements.  For each element Shift D to

duplicate and X out the originals.  Add a drop shadow of

2; -2, 30, 3.00 to all except the glitter butterflies, no DS on them.

When I say copy and paste to canvas, I assume you will know

to go to edit, copy the element, then on the canvas, edit, paste as a new layer.

Sunflower 1, resize 20%, copy & paste to canvas, position, DS

Sunflower 2, resize 25%, copy & paste to canvas, position DS

Pretty Butterfly 1 and 2, resize 20%, position, DS

Rose 3 & 4, resize 40%, copy & paste to canvas, position

under the sunflower layers.

Bug 4, resize 15%, Image, Rotate, free rotate 45% to the left.

Heartflower 1, resize 25%, copy and paste as a new layer

on the frame to the right, below the top tube layer.

Gttrbutfly 1 & 2, resize 10%, no DS

copy and paste them to canvas, position.

Add your copyright and save.

I save one copy in PSP form in case I need to make changes.

To save as a PNG, x out the bottom white layer, right click

on the top layer and merge visible.

You can then add your name to it and save.

Mask & Font of choice.



Open new image, 600 x 600.

Flood fill with white.

Open the blue wire butterfly1 element, shift D to duplicate, x out the original.

Copy and paste onto canvas.

Open the green wire butterfly2 element, shift D to duplicate, x out the original.

Copy and past to canvas above the blue butterfly layer. Resize 90%. Go to Image Rotate,

Free Rotate 22% to the Left.



Click on or activate the green butterfly layer, (top layer), and use your eraser tool to carefully

erase some of the wires that are on top of the blue butterflies.



Click on or activate the blue butterfly frame, and use your magic wand and click inside the frame.

Go to selections, modify, expand by 2.

Open paper 2 or paper of choice, shift D to duplicate, x out the orignal paper.

Copy and paste the paper above the frame, go to selections, invert, tap delete key, then

go back to selections, select none.

Move the paper below the frame layer.



You can use any elements you wish next.



I used the element Flowers & Bows - shift D to duplicate, x out original,

resize 40%, and I adjusted the hue and saturation to

colorize it to match my tube. Hue 218, Sat 186. Position on tag.



Green Flower - shift D to duplicate, x out original, resize 30%, position on tag.



Butterfly2 - shift D to duplicate, x out original, resize 20%, position, you can

use your raster deform tool to rotate to your liking when positioning.



Butterfly3 - shift D to duplicate, x out original, resize 20%, position on tag, mirror.



Open your tube, shift D to duplicate, x out the original, position on tag, drop shadow.



I used a dropshadow of Horizontal 2, Opacity -2, Opacity 30, Blur 3.00, with color Black

on all the elements and tube.



Now to do the mask layer. Highlight your background layer. Go to layers, new raster layer.

Then go to selections, select all.

Open paper of choice, I used Paper 8, Shift D to duplicate, x out the original paper,

go to edit, copy, then go to your tag, click edit, paste into selection, select none.



Go to layers, new mask layer, from image and high light your mask of choice, click ok.

Go to your layers palette and merge group.



Add your copyright, and license number, you can save it as a psp image or x out your

background layer, merge visible and save as png for using to add names to for tags.

Jose Cano - Last Word FTU Tut

Supplies:  FTU Scrapkit by Gothic Inspirations called Timeless Romance HERE

Font of Choice:  I used Caribbean Caps which you can get free HERE

Drop shadow throughout with V 2, H -2, Opacity 40, Blur 4.00

Open canvas 600 x 600.  Flood fill with white. 

Open Element GI Mesh - Shift D, x out orignal.  Copy and paste onto canvas.  Resize 85%.  Adjust, Blur, Blur More. 

Open Element GI Doodle - Shift D, x out original.  Copy & paste above the mesh layer, resize 85%.
I then colorized it with a Hue of 0 and Saturation 184.  To do this you go to Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize - put 0 in Hue box and 184 in Saturation box, click ok. I then went to Adjust, Blur, Blur More.

Open Element GI Crystal Ball - Shift D, x out original.  Copy & paste above the doodle layer. Resize 80%.

Open Element Foliage - Shift D, x out original.  Copy & paste, sharpen, duplicate 2 times, mirror one layer.

I next typed out Last Word with Caribbean Caps Font size 68, stroke 3.0, no bold, foreground white, background black.  Drop Shadow with V2, H-2, O40, B4.00.
Go to effects, Inner Bevel with the following Settings

Smoothness - 3     Angle 315

Depth - 2      Int. - 30

Amb. 0     Elev - 50

Shine - 30

Width - 12

Color Red 881816

Open Element - GI Heart 2 - Shift D, x out original, copy and paste onto canvas, resize 75%.  Position.

Open Element - GI Candle - Shift D, x out original, copy  & paste onto canvas, resize 90%, position.

Open tube of choice, Shift D, to duplicate, x out original, copy and paste above all other elements.  Add a

small dropshadow to all elements and tube.  Add your copyright and license number, name and save.

I save one copy as psp image without any names added and then i x out the background layer, and merge visible and save as png for using to add names to for groups.  Hope this was an easy tut to follow.  Thanks for looking.

Keith Garvey - Steam Punk Junk Tut

Supplies:  Mask of choice or Sabine's mask 02 that  I used from HERE

Tube of choice or the one I used by Keith Garvey called Dancer which you can purchase HERE

I used a fabulous PTU scrapkit called  KSSteampunk Junque which you can purchase HERE

Font of Choice.

I used Celtic Hand

Ok, let's get started.  Open your supplies.

Open a new canvas 600 x 600, flood fill with white. 

Go to layers, add a new raster layer.

Open paper of choice, I used paper 11, Shift D, x out the original.

Back to your new raster layer, go to selections, select all, copy the paper

Go to edit, and paste it into selection, go to selections, select none.

Next go to layers, new mask layer from image, click ok, merge group.

The rest of the tag is a matter of adding your elements of choice, resizing them, and positioning them.

Make sure when you open each element you Shift D to duplicate the elements and x out the originals.

You can look at my tag for positioning or go your own way.

I used the following elements.

Pocket Watch 1 - Resize 60%

Old Book 1 - Resize 80%

Twig Bundle 1 - duplicate, mirror

Cogs 1 - mirror

Dried Roses - Resize 60%, duplicate, mirror

Drape - Resize 60%, duplicate, mirror, position

Cello 1 - Resize 75%

Silk Flower 1 - Resize 50%

add your tube of choice.

Make sure you add your license number and copyright.

I used dropshadow of  V = 2,  H = -2,  O = 40,  B = 3.00 with color black.

on all the elements and tube.

For the font, I used a drop shadow of V 3, H -3, O 50, B 5.00 with color black.
